The orchard between the blocks” is the name of the planting campaign initiated by “Freedom for Education, Culture and Sport” Association in partnership with the Administration of the Public Domain and Sector 6 Urban Development, Bu-charest.
On April 2, 2016, in a residential complex in sector 6, Bucharest, 30 families participated in a volunteer action in which the green spaces between their homes were given a new look by planting fruit trees. The children involved took respon-sibility, were animated by the actual planting process and became aware of the importance of creating sustainable green spaces. At the end of the activity, the volunteers received certificates of participation.
