Freedom for Education, Culture and Sport Association, Bucharest, in partnership with the Romanian Ministry of Culture and the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in Moscow, held the first edition of the National Calligraphy Contest, 2016.
900 works done by Romanians from the country and the diaspora entered in the contest and their evaluation and selection was made by an international jury made up of teachers, professors, professional calligraphers, architects, art critics, representatives of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in Moscow and of the Romanian Ministry of Culture.
