ImaginaRo in Japan – 2016

“Freedom for Education, Culture and Sport” Association, Bucharest, in partnership with the Romanian Embassy in Japan organised the project- the “ImaginaRo” photography and drawing contest, with the theme of promoting rural Romania.

Over 900 participants from the country and the diaspora sent graphic and photographic works capturing Romanian rural images, aspects related to Romanian culture and civilisation from the villages, as well as landscapes, people and unique places from the countryside.

The most appreciated works were exhibited in July 2016, at both the Romanian Embassy in Tokyo and at the cultural center Takanawa Civic Center, Minato City, Japan.
